It’s easy to look at a minimal home and think, “Well, that must have been easy.”
HA. We wish!

The thing about minimalism is that EVERYTHING has to be good. No… perfect. Every material, texture, and tiny detail is out there, completely exposed with nothing to hide behind.

And while we love a room with a lot to say (obviously), we have just as much love for one that knows when to be quiet. Less stuff… more obsessing over the stuff, you know?

Because creating a quiet, beautifully considered moment can be just as powerful as going all out. And #BridgeHouse is the perf example of that ✌🏼✌🏼

When the wallpaper is so good, you frame it like art 🤌🏽

Hand-painted @degournay on a silver leaf background. It’s subtle. It’s intricate. It’s somehow both a statement and the most serene thing in the room.

It’s THE moment of the primary bedroom at #LaurelCreek

A little powder bath roundup for your viewing pleasure because it’s Monday, we’re busy, mildly overwhelmed, and have a particular affinity for punchy powder rooms. Enjoy. ✌🏼🤍

Okay, so which of these beauties is your fav because they’re all sooooo different!!!

Alex and Claire took on @highpointmarket for the Bond team this year… They saw some things. They loved some things. We’re here to report on those things 🫡

Full of fresh ideas, a whole lot of inspiration, and feeling VERY energized about what’s in store for our future projects.

MATERIAL SELECTIONS: #CanyonCool edition. A lil’ mid-century modern inspiration, some pretty unconventional color combinations, and a few classics thrown in for good measure.

One of our favorite things about these selections is how much the installation changes the personality of a material. Take zellige, for example. A simple straight stack can make a centuries-old tile feel decidedly modern. Cool, right?!

Proof that sometimes it’s not just WHAT you use, but HOW you use it.

Anyway, we’re curious which combos are your favorites. 👀

A little corner of #FifthAvenueRanch that somehow managed to fly under the radar here on the ‘gram… which is a shame, because she deserves some attention!!!

Meet the guest apartment. Tucked above the garage with its own private entrance, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and living area. Basically everything you need to move in and never leave. (Guests, please don’t get any ideas)

And while this space was intentionally designed for visitors only, we didn’t want the space to feel like an afterthought. The same personality, vibe, and attention to detail found the light the main house made its way up here, too.

Final reveal coming so so soon!!

We’ve been DYING to show you guys #BoulderHorizons… but alas, our plans to photograph this beaut were slightly derailed when the entire primary suite FLOODED just weeks after install 🙃 ‘Tis life. What can you do?

Anywayyyyyy, we’ll be heading back to the desert soon to finally capture this sculptural, sun-drenched beauty in all her glory. See you soon ✌🏼👀

Possibly one of our most unconventional design risks to date… because apparently you can “wallpaper” just about anything if you know the right people.

Case in point: this custom-wrapped True fridge at #LaurelCreek. A bit of a shot in the dark, a little bit of luck, and somehow one of our favorite details in the entire home.

So… are we all wallpapering our refrigerators now or????

One of our favorite things about designing a new build is finding ways to make it feel like it has a history. A little character, a little soul, a few things that have been around much longer than the house itself. And these incredible botanical prints from The Temple of Flora by Dr. Robert John Thornton are exactly what we’re talking about.

Originally published in the early 1800s, these illustrations are basically botanical studies turned fine art. Dramatic, romantic, a little theatrical… we could stare at them all day.

And the story gets even better. Our client had been safeguarding her complete original collection UNDER HER BED for TEN YEARS. Just waiting for the right place to display them.

We love a beautiful new home, obviously. But we love it even more when it’s filled with things that have a story to tell. And these centuries-old beauties have officially found their forever home in #LaurelCreek. 🤍

There’s just something about a good remodel 🤌🏽

Taking a home with years of history, quirks, and some questionable design decisions…. Then giving it an entirely new chapter?? SO satisfying.

New builds are wonderful, but remodels have a certain kind of magic. And nothing beats seeing the before and after.

Happy Friday, folks!!!

October has been suspiciously warm around here and we have been LOVING it. Unfortunately, it looks like Mother Nature has remembered we’re in Utah and that’s about to come to an end next week.

ANYWAYYYY, before we fully surrender to sweater weather, can we have a moment for #LaurelCreek???

This home is a stunner year-round, obviously, but there is just something about it in the warmer months. The aspens. The gardens. The whole storybook situation. It’s ridiculous, really. We will simply never get over this house. Ever.

ON SITE | A little obsessed with what’s happening here.

This curved metal grand staircase is going to be such a moment. Especially once the custom 42-piece raindrop chandelier is cascading through the center and the handrail is wrapped in a yummy cognac leather.

More to come on this home soon ✌🏼

More color. More pattern. More texture. More things that make you stop and say, “Wait… we can do that?”

Yes. Yes, you can. And you probably should.

Because “timeless” was never supposed to be boring ✌🏼

A purple kitchen? You sure you won’t get tired of it?

Respectfully… have you SEEN her???

Calacatta Viola running wild across the countertops and backsplash, paired with rich reeded walnut cabinetry… There’s a lot happening in this kitchen, but somehow every material is such a moment of its own.

This is why we’ll always choose personality over playing it safe. Give us the veining. Give us the color. Give us the wood grain. Give us a kitchen that actually has something to say.

Safe to say, we’re not tired of it yet. #FifthAvenueRanch

We take outdoor/indoor living very seriously at #FifthAvenueRanch… even in the laundry room.

Double glass + steel Dutch doors connect this hardworking space to the stables just outside, with the top half opening independently for fresh air, sunshine, and the occasional visit from Whit. Pair that with green cabinetry, a walnut island, geometric mosaic floors, concealed washers and dryers, and you’ve got a laundry room that feels decidedly less…. laundry room.

The horse definitely helps ✌🏼🙂‍↕️

Happy Monday, folks! A new bunk room just dropped. 👀

One of our favorite things about bunk rooms is how customizable they can be for each family. This layout actually left room for a queen bed, but instead, we kept the space open so the grandkids have more room to play, imagine, and make it their own.

Because sometimes a little extra floor space is way more fun than another bed.
